Our Synagogue

Congregation Beth Shalom was founded more than 50 years ago. We may be the oldest synagogue structure in Ottawa, Ontario, but you’ll find we take a modern yet traditional approach to our faith.

We are a shul for all ages and stages — for children, singles, couples, families, grandparents. There are plenty of reasons to join us in prayer and celebration, study and simcha.

Our sanctuary is considered by many to be the most outstanding in the region. Majestic in size and beautifully designed, it provides a wonderful setting for prayer and reflection. We offer a daily minyan, and Friday and Saturday night (Shabbat) services.

Beth Shalom is located in the downtown core of Ottawa, the nation's capital, and less than a 15-minute walk from the Parliament Buildings.

We invite you to tour our website to learn more about Congregation Beth Shalom and what we have to offer.
